Mr. Hayes was born in Del Rio, Texas, and moved to California at the age of 12. He attended John F. Kennedy High School in Richmond, CA. He then attended the University of California at Berkeley, as well as California State University, Hayward. He has been at King’s Valley Christian School since 1998, where he teaches Physical Education and Health. Mr. Hayes is also the athletic director and coaches softball and basketball.  Mr. Hayes has a beautiful family: Tina, Michael, and Cameron. He attends the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, CA.
