Miss Carothers is a KVCS graduate. She graduated from Northgate High School. She has been employed by KVCS since 1986. Melissa started as an extended care worker before becoming the extended care director. Melissa took a sabbatical for one year to travel before returning to KVCS to teach physical education. Miss Carothers has a wealth of experience with children, as she has been a nanny for several families in the Bay Area. Miss Carothers plans to further her education in the field of physical therapy so she can comfort and assist those in pain.
