Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLR’S) represent the qualities all King’s Valley Christian School students should possess when they graduate from the eighth grade. The ESLR’S have been adapted to fit the different grade levels.
GRADES 6 THROUGH 8
Biblical Worldview
I. Students will develop a Biblical worldview, one based in Truth, not society’s opinion.
A. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the basic tenets of Christianity.
B. Students will know that Jesus Christ is Savior of the world.
C. Students will be able to quote key Scriptures from the Bible.
D. Students will be able to explain what it means to be a Christian.
Excellence in Academics
II. Students will demonstrate academic excellence.
A. Students will learn to be self-directed.
B. Students will become effective communicators.
C. Students will be diligent in their work.
D. Students will complete assigned tasks on time and without complaint.
E. Students will develop critical thinking skills.
